On September 26, 2012, a ship technology seminar was held to provide Mexican stakeholders with information about some of the ship technologies needed to meet the requirements of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) Annex VI and an Emission Control Area (ECA). A broad set of over 40 stakeholders attended the seminar, including key Mexican government agencies, industry representatives and technology representatives.
