Announcing the 2014 "Climate Change in Focus" Contest Winners!

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Environmental Education Foundation are pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 "Climate Change in Focus" student video contest! We received many creative entries from middle school students around the country.

Winning Videos

• First Place: "Climate Change on the Shore" by Giovanna, Harrison, Reginale and Kamryn; New Jersey
• Second Place: "Trash Terminators" by Vincent, Rohan, Quentin, Graeme and Elizabeth; North Carolina
• Third Place: "How I'm Thinking Globally and Acting Locally" Elijah; Michigan

We would like to thank all of the fantastic students who participated in our contest. We hope that you enjoyed making the videos as much as we enjoyed watching them! We also want to extend a special thanks to the teachers who had their students participate as a class project and who took the time to oversee the submission of all their students' videos and applications.
