Harrah's Entertainment's Bally's and Paris Hotel and Casino – Gold Achievement for a New Partner

In its first year as a WasteWise Partner, Harrah's Entertainment's Bally's and Paris Hotel and Casino has made impressive strides. Teams of employees held three highly successful Green Fairs, where nearly 1,000 employees networked and gained a better understanding of sustainability issues. Harrah's Entertainment's Bally's and Paris Hotel and Casino also developed innovative ways to communicate sustainability information to a workforce of more than 6,500, many of whom work non-traditional hours. Additionally, the company reorganized and stepped up its solid waste recycling program, and became the first operator on the Las Vegas Strip to achieve gold-level accreditation from TravelLife Sustainability Systems.
