June 4, 1990 Definition of Postapproval Monitoring 3.37

The term "postapproval monitoring" is used to identify the time when ambient ozone monitoring is to be undertaken when the normal PSD requirement for preconstruction ozone monitoring is waived. The postapproval period may begin anytime after the source receives its PSD permit, but should not begin later than 2 years later after the start-up of the new source or modification.
