HandBook
ORD with assistance of Lead Safe Yard Project team has developed
a handbook during the course of the project that may be useful to
other organizers/homeowners interested in starting a similar project
in their community. If you or your community has wooden housing
built prior to the early 70's it's possible that you may have lead
contaminated soils (the older the housing the more likely that soils
have been contaminated).
You will need Adobe Reader to view some of the files on this page. See EPA's PDF page to learn more about PDF, and for a link to the free Acrobat Reader.
