The Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act, Public Law 107 - 118
EPA began a pilot Brownfields Program in 1994 to provide funds and technical assistance to help communities assess, clean up, as sustainably reuse Brownfields. On January 11, 2002, President George W. Bush signed the Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act into law, which authorizes up to $250 million per year for Brownfields grants, including up to $50 million in state and tribal funding.
