Production Matrix
Ecosystem goods and services are produced at different rates depending on the physical and biological attributes of a given place. Influential attributes include the characteristics of vegetation cover and soils, surface characteristics such as slope and imperviousness, and the make-up of the biological community. The chart below shows each generalized land use/land cover types relative production for each category of ecosystem goods and services.
