Abstract:

This Map is designed to display the Grazing Allotment boundaries within the State of Nevada. The grazing allotments are Federal lands upon which private individuals graze livestock. It is a polygon coverage in which each polygon is assigned a unique allotment number.

Purpose:

This map represents and identifies the grazing allotment boundaries within the state of Nevada and is intended to be used as a supplemental layer for management purposes.

Supplemental_Information:

The original data is a digitized polygon layer of the grazing allotment boundaries at scales varying from 1:1000000 to 1:24000. The map is periodically updated as new digitized data is created in the Nevada BLM Field Offices.
