WasteWise Member Status Definition Guide
There are three levels of participation for both partners and endorsers within WasteWise. The uuide below outlines the various levels and associated commitments for each status level. Some of the levels have a time limit, however, most do not.
Registrant
- These are organizations that have joined within the last 90 days, but have not yet submitted their baseline or established goals.
- Member automatically becomes a registrant when they sign up via the SMM Data Management System and remain with this status until they submit baseline data.
New Participant
- These are organizations that have submitted their baseline data and established annual commitments/goals, but have not yet reached the deadline for submitting their first annual report.
- The Helpline updates the member’s status when we receive baseline data.
- This status of participant will have their name appear on the WasteWise website.
Active Participant
- Definition: Organizations that submitted their baseline, annual commitments/goals, and most recent set of annual data. A participant does not have to achieve its annual commitments/goals to be considered "active".
- This status of participant will have their name appear on the WasteWise website.
