The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Mid-Continent Ecology Division hosted a workshop that focused on developing an analytical framework for data that supports bioassessment of the Ohio, Upper Mississippi, and Missouri Rivers.  Emphasis was on data collected for the Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program for Great River Ecosystems (EMAP-GRE). The workshop included the analysis of fish, macroinvertebrate, algae and zooplankton assemblage data, water quality data, riparian, physical habitat, and hydrology data, and fish and sediment contaminant data. The workshop focused on the steps leading to final indicators and assessments based on EMAP-GRE data sets.
