Linking a database directly to ArcView using ODBC technology

Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) technology allows you to query an outside database directly from ArcView. Data linked to ArcView projects via ODBC can be automatically updated to reflect changes in the outside database. In this discussion, we will use ODBC with an Access database. You can use ODBC with other databases as well.
