Design for the Environment
The Design for the Environment program helps businesses incorporate environmental considerations into the design of products by integrating cleaner, cheaper, and smarter solutions into everyday business practices.

Environmentally Preferable Purchasing
Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP) helps the federal government "buy green," and in doing so, uses the federal government's enormous buying power to stimulate market demand for green products and services.

Energy Star Program
ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.
EPEAT Program 
EPEAT is a system to help purchasers in the public and private sectors evaluate, compare and select desktop computers, notebooks and monitors based on their environmental attributes.

Federal Electronic Challenge
The Federal Electronics Challenge (FEC) is a partnership program that encourages federal facilities and agencies to:
- Purchase greener electronic products.
- Reduce impacts of electronic products during use.
- Manage obsolete electronics in an environmentally safe way.
Federal Energy Management Program
The Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program's (FEMP) mission is to facilitate the Federal Government's implementation of sound, cost-effective energy management and investment practices to enhance the nation's energy security and environmental stewardship.
Federal Green Challenge
The Federal Green Challenge is a voluntary partnership program challenging federal agencies to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by 5% in a year by managing their electronics, energy, purchasing, transportation, waste, and water.
Green Power Partnership

Across America, consumers increasingly have a choice when they buy electricity. This now includes the ability to buy green power, power generated from renewable energy sources. EPA's Green Power Partnership recognizes organizations that demonstrate environmental leadership by choosing green power.

LEED Program 
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.
Water Sense Program
WaterSense, a partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, makes it easy for Americans to save water and protect the environment.
Waste Wise Program
A partnership program that seeks to reduce municipal solid waste through innovative waste prevention and recycling techniques.
West Coast Collaborative 

The West Coast Collaborative is a partnership between federal, state, and local governments which is focused on creating, supporting and implementing diesel emissions reductions projects along the Western United States.
