Cumulative Results to Date by Facilities Voluntarily Reporting Success Stories
Collecting and tracking data is an important component of demonstrating results towards a sustainable environment. Tracking results, through an environmental management system, helps a facility manage actions and ensures a facility moves forward towards a sustainable facility. Everything a facility tracks (green energy generated, reduced: energy use, water use, waste generated and dollars saved is valuable data which is useful for making decisions that influence a facilities ability to move forward towards a sustainable facility.
- Energy (energy generated on site & reduced energy use)
- Waste (reduced waste generated, increased waste diversion/recycling, & increased composting)
- Water (decreased water demand/use)
- Dollar Savings (cost savings, and cost avoidance)
Data is represented as average savings by facility each year.
Results reported by Federal Agencies to EPA have not been verified by EPA.
