Hazardous Waste Disposal System

Purpose
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Hazardous Waste Disposal System is automated and maintains information on various phases of clandestine drug laboratory seizures by tracking and monitoring the processing of payments, contractor performance and container trends (e.g., number, cost, location, etc.) associated with clandestine drug laboratories. Records are maintained in this system to ensure DEA's compliance with the Environmental Protection Act, the Department of Transportation and other regulatory entities. Also, this system tracks containers and expenditures as they pertain to hazardous waste cleanup and the disposal of chemicals seized at clandestine drug laboratories.
