Pollution Prevention Coatings and
Coating Equipment
This pilot ended in 2007. It verified commercial-ready coatings and coating equipment with potential to prevent pollution. Innovative coatings are advantageous by virtue of their composition or curing process, such as near-zero volatile organic compound liquids and ultraviolet-curable coatings. Innovative coating equipment generates less pollution by applying coatings more efficiently or by expanding the use of innovative coatings. These technologies were verified in cooperation with Concurrent Technologies Corporation.
