Proposed Carbon Pollution Standards for Modified and Reconstructed Power Plants
On June 2, 2014, the EPA proposed standards to address carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from reconstructed and modified power plants. This action would only apply to a unit that meets certain, specific conditions described in the Clean Air Act and implementing regulations for being “reconstructed” or “modified”.
