In February and March of 2011, EPA held five listening sessions to gain important information and feedback from key stakeholders and the public on new greenhouse gas emissions standards for fossil fuel fired power plants and petroleum refineries. Each listening session featured a facilitated round table discussion among stakeholder representatives selected for their expertise in the Clean Air Act standard-setting process.
