| MAIA Flowing Waters Report | This assessment provides the first statistically unbiased assessment of the health of the streams and rivers in the Mid-Atlantic region. It combines data from two sample surveys conducted in the region by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency during the period 1993-98. |
| MAIA 1997-98 Summary Report | This summary report examines thirteen measured or calculated parameters that serve as indicators of estuarine conditions for four major and twelve small estuaries in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Three important environmental issues are emphasized: eutrophication, contamination of the sediments, and the impairment of the biological communities in the estuaries. |
| Mid-Atlantic Landscape Atlas | The Atlas is an EPA report assessing relative ecological conditions across the mid-Atlantic region of the United States encompassing Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. |
| Condition of the Mid-Atlantic Estuaries | This report focuses on the current condition of the Mid-Atlantic estuaries (the Delaware Estuary, the Chesapeake Bay, and the Delmarva coastal bays) from the early- to mid-1990s, and how and why the estuaries have changed over the years. |
| Chesapeake Bay Monitoring Program Report | The Chesapeake Bay Water Quality Monitoring Program includes elements to measure water quality, sediment quality, phytoplankton, zooplankton and benthic invertebrates. |
