No-Discharge Zone Evaluation Report

EPA surveyed boaters and marinas in 15 coastal and Great Lakes No-Discharge Zones (NDZs) around the country to evaluate the effectiveness of NDZs established by States under CWA Section 312(f)(3). In particular, EPA was interested in the availability of adequate pumpout facilities and the public's awareness of the discharge prohibition in these areas.
