Reach Indexing News

The NHD-RIT version 7.0.0 has been released as part of the NHD ArcView Toolkit and is available for download at http://nhd.usgs.gov/tools.html.

This integration allows users to use the functionality of the other toolkit extensions like NHD Load/Unload workspace and NHD Navigate to assist with their reach indexing tasks. For example, NHD Navigate allows a user to perform a navigation on NHD and specify a maximum distance to travel. So if you would like to delineate an area 5 miles upstream from a monitoring station, you can use NHD Navigate and add the results to your reach indexing.

On site trainings for the NHD Toolkit are available to states who are interested in using event tables for the EPA 303(d), 305(b) or WQS mapping initiatives. Please contact OW support at owsupport@rti.org or call 1-800-844-0638, if you are interested in an NHD Toolkit training.
