State of the Great Lakes 2005EPA 905-R-06-001 United States Environmental Protection Agency Abstract The 2005 State of the Great Lakes Technical Report is a detailed technical document with the complete indicator reports and assessments, indicator category assessments, Lake and River assessments and management challenges. Every two years the United States and Canada issue the State of the Great Lakes Technical Report to present information on the condition of the Great Lakes and progress made toward the goals of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement at the State of the Lakes Ecosystem conference. The 2005 State of the Great Lakes Technical Report is the collaborative effort of more than 150 scientists and natural resources managers to use a suite of indicators to monitor change over time in the Great Lakes basin.
