Do Your Students Have Great Ideas About Helping to Better their Environment and Community?
This year EPA would like participants to focus on how environmental challenges can be addressed in schools and/or communities. We ask that students and teachers problem solve and artistically express through posters, poems or videos suggesting actions that they and others can take to increase awareness and protect the environment. For example, what can your class do to improve recycling in your school? Or how can your community work to make parks trash free? Whatever notion students use, no matter how widely used or original, the goal is to get them thinking about the problem and then providing us with their solutions.
- This program is for students in K – 6 in Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
