2007 NEAEB Conference

Graphic of Vermont's Department of Environmental ConservationTo all 2007 attendees, thank you all for sharing your 2,142 years of collective wisdom and enthusiasm for the protection of our aquatic ecosystems at this year's NEAEB! The Vermont team would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank EPA for their continued support of the NEAEB conference. While this years meeting emphasized the importance of states in creating and implementing their desired vision of the future of aquatic ecosystems, this meeting would not be in existence if it had not been for the vision of EPA biologist Peter Nolan 31 years ago. EPA's support enables the NEAEB meetings and underlies much of the technical work presented at the meetings. New York and New England states have the opportunity to positively influence the future management of our aquatic environments, and we are lucky that we do not need to go it alone. USEPA is there to help us achieve our common visions.
