1/17/07 Application for Experimental Use Permit - This notice announces receipt of an application 264-EUP-140 from Bayer CropScience LP requesting an experimental use permit (EUP) for the Bacillus thuringiensis Cry1Ab protein and the genetic material necessary for its production in Events T303-3 and T304-40 cotton plants.

7/19/06 Experimental Use Permits Granted - EPA has issued the following EUP:
264-EUP-140. Issuance. Bayer CropScience of Research Triangle Park, NC. This EUP allows the use of 0.071 pounds (32 grams) of the insecticide Bacillus Thuringiensis Cry1Ab protein and the genetic material necessary for its production on 370 acres of Events T303-3 and T304-40 cotton plants to evaluate the control of cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa zea) and tobacco budworm (Heliothis virescens). The program is authorized only in the States of Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, and Texas. The EUP is effective from February 7, 2006 to January 31, 2007.
