8/30/06 Experimental Use Permits Granted - EPA has issued the following EUP:
82761-EUP-1. Issuance. Montana Microbial Products of Missoula, Montana. This EUP allows the use of 5.82 pounds of the fungicide Bacillus mycoides isolate J on 232.25 acres of sugar beets to evaluate the control of Cercospora Leaf Spot (Cercospora beticola). The program is authorized only in the States of Minnesota, Montana, and North Dakota. The EUP is effective from June 8, 2006 to December 31, 2007.
6/14/06 Temporary Tolerance Exemption Established - This regulation establishes a temporary exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the microbial pesticide Bacillus mycoides isolate J on sugar beets when applied/used to control Cercospora Leaf Spot (Cercospora beticola) in sugar beets. Montana Microbial Products submitted a petition to EPA requesting the temporary exemption from tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of Bacillus mycoides isolate J. The temporary tolerance exemption will expire on December 31, 2007.
1/18/06 Petition for Tolerance Exemption - This notice announces the initial filing of a pesticide petition PP 5G6983. Montana Microbial Products of Missoula, MT, proposes to establish an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the microbial pesticide Bacillus mycoides isolate J, in or on the food commodity sugar beets.
