Computational Toxicology Centers STAR Progress Review Workshop
Grantee Research Project Results
Scientists from EPA's STAR Computational Toxicology and Bioinformatics Centers will
present their research findings to date and future endeavors. The four Centers are:
- The Research Center for Environmental Bioinformatics and Computational Toxicology, University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMUDJ), Piscataway, NJ;
- The Carolina Environmental Bioinformatics Research Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC;
- The Carolina Center for Computational Toxicology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC; and
- The Texas-Indiana Virtual STAR Center, University of Houston, Houston, TX, the most recently funded center.
In addition to presentations by the STAR Center Principal Investigators, EPA scientists engaged in the cooperative agreements with the Centers will discuss their projects. The workshop also will feature a panel discussion that will focus on future research needs for this cutting-edge field.
