Comparable Fuels Rule
On June 27, 2014, the United States Court of Appeals vacated the "Comparable Fuels Rule", which provided an exclusion from RCRA hazardous waste regulations for certain fuels derived from hazardous waste. The Court, in response to an EPA motion, has granted a stay in the issuance of the mandate for the decision until March 30, 2015 in order to allow facilities time to come into compliance with the applicable requirements.
