Making a Visible Difference in Communities Home

Cincinnati, OH

EPA worked with Cincinnati to improve conditions in the South Mill Creek Corridor, Lick Run area and Northside neighborhoods as well as other core areas of the city. Priorities included:

• reduced combined sewer overflows and improved water quality
• reduced rates of childhood asthma
• cleanup and redevelopment of six brownfield sites
• increased business activity on redeveloped sites
• increased housing for low-income residents
• development of green infrastructure
• higher percentage of the population within walking distance of a park or open space
