Growing Our Own Communities: U.S. EPA Smart Growth Implementation Assistance for Victor and Driggs, Idaho

The cities of Victor and Driggs, Idaho, requested assistance from EPA's Smart Growth Implementation Assistance Program to identify and overcome barriers to compact, mixed-use, walkable development in each city. Both cities want to ensure that growth and development allows new economic opportunities, job growth, transportation choices, and choices about where to live, work, and play. They also want growth that supports the historic character and natural beauty of the Teton Valley.

Growing Our Own Communities (2007) describes the project and outlines five areas where the cities could implement policies to get the development patterns they desire.
