Public Notice: Final Approval of California SIP Revision; Imperial County Air Pollution Control District; Particulate Matter from Open Areas, Wood Burning Appliances and Stationary Source Permitting Definitions

Summary

EPA is taking final action to approve revisions to the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) portion of the California state implementation plan (SIP). These revisions concern emissions of particulate matter (PM) from open areas and wood burning appliances and update certain definitions relevant to stationary source permitting. We are approving local rules that regulate these emission sources under the Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act).
