EPA is soliciting comments on the request for approval in accordance with 40 CFR 403.11. EPA will consider all comments received during the comment period before taking final action. The request will be approved without change if no substantive comments are received by the end of the comment period. Summary

EPA is issuing a notice of proposed action under the Clean Water Act. EPA has received a request from the following Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) for approval of their Pretreatment Program:

City of North Las Vegas Water Reclamation Facility
2250 Las Vegas Blvd, Suite 250
North Las Vegas, NV  89030

A determination by the EPA to approve this request would allow the POTW to regulate the discharge of pollutants into the treatment works from Industrial Users by carrying out inspection, surveillance, and monitoring to determine compliance with applicable Pretreatment Standards and Requirements.
