Writing an IPM Policy for your School District – EPA Webinar on November 10

EPA’s Center of Expertise for School Integrated Pest Management (IPM) will host a webinar, “Writing an IPM Policy for your School District,” on November 10 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

This webinar will detail the development, approval and implementation of a school IPM policy. It will review the purpose, goals and components of a well-constructed policy. The webinar will feature:

  • Kenneth McPherson, School IPM Coordinator, EPA Region 6 (South Central)
  • Seth Miller, Ph.D., Superintendent of Schools, Westville (Illinois) School District
  • Mervin Brewer, Facilities Manager, Salt Lake City (Utah) Schools

This webinar is one in a series of EPA presentations offering information on IPM to help school districts adopt a proactive approach to pest control. The presentations are geared specifically to the school community: facility managers, buildings and grounds managers, staff, nurses, administrators and IPM coordinators.
