New Website on Endangered Species and Pesticides
For Release: October 9, 2015
EPA has launched a redesigned website on protecting endangered species from pesticides: www2.epa.gov/endangered-species.
The purpose of this new website is to make information more easily accessible to the public, regardless of the type of device being used (for example, laptop, tablet or smartphone). EPA is not announcing any technical or regulatory changes to its endangered species program.
The new website highlights the following areas:
- Endangered Species and Pesticides, including information about the endangered species program, assessing pesticides under the Endangered Species Act, and information about pending litigation.
- Protection for Endangered Species, including EPA’s interactive map for pesticide use limitations to protect endangered species, Bulletins Live! Two, and information for pesticide users.
- Working with our Partners
- Resources for Kids and Teachers
We encourage our stakeholders to update their bookmarks and references to EPA’s website with these new URLs.
