EPA will host a webinar, “Antimicrobial Use Site Index” on July 14 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The webinar will present the proposed Antimicrobial Pesticide Use Site Index guidance.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

• changes to the proposed Use Site Index since the proposed rule for data requirements for antimicrobial pesticides was issued in October 2008;
• descriptions and examples of key components of the proposed Use Site Index guidance;
• explanation of how food use designations (i.e., direct food, indirect food and non-food) and presence or absence of pesticide residues on food determine whether or not a dietary exposure assessment is required and whether or not a tolerance or exemption from the requirement of a tolerance is needed;
• instructions on using the proposed Use Site Index guidance to determine data requirements, including descriptions and examples.
