A listing of ad hoc candidates, including their biographical sketches, for the November 28-30, 2017 meeting of the FIFRA SAP to consider and review the “Continuing Development of Alternative High-Throughput Screens to Determine Endocrine Disruption, focusing on Androgen Receptor, Steroidogenesis, and Thyroid Pathways,” is now posted at: https://www.epa.gov/sap. The public comment period on the candidates for the November meeting will be from August 22, 2017 to September 7, 2017. As background, the FIFRA SAP serves as the primary scientific peer review mechanism of EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP) and is structured to provide scientific advice, information and recommendations to the EPA Administrator on pesticides and pesticide-related issues as to the impact of regulatory actions on health and the environment.
