Unitek Environmental Guam Waste Transfer Facility

Unitek Environmental Guam facility is located on Port of Guam in Piti, Guam. The proposed permit is for the discharge of treated bilge water and oily wastewater from. Discharge occurs primarily via outfall No. 001 into Philippine Sea near Apra Harbor. The Facility services vessels that are cleaned during routine maintenance, repair, or decommissioning and facility wastewater contaminated by used oil. Wastewater is processed directly through the mobile treatment plant or stored in mobile tanker trailers or intermodal tanks prior to processing. Effluent discharges from the mobile treatment facility are intermittent and has an estimated design flow rate of 150,000 gallons per day.
