Speedy’s Convenience, Inc. is located near Lupton in Apache County, Arizona and has applied for a NPDES permit to discharge treated groundwater, contaminated in the past with distilled petroleum products, using Mobile Dual-Phase Extraction (MDPE) via Outfall No. 001. to a non-perennial Unnamed Wash which is a tributary to the Puerco River. The Treatment Facility is expected to discharge on average 133 gallons per day of extracted water. Extracted non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) will be disposed of at an authorized facility. No NAPL will be present in the effluent discharged. The Facility is a minor discharger.
