MONDAY: EPA to Hold U.S.-Mexico Border 2020 Conference

DALLAS - (Sept. 21, 2015) The U.S-Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Mexican Environment and Natural Resources Secretariat (SEMARNAT) are holding their first biennial national coordinators meeting. The meeting is part of the Border 2020 U.S.-Mexico Environmental Program. The meeting will take place in El Paso, Texas, on Sept. 21 - 23, 2015.

During the meeting citizens will have the opportunity to provide feedback and learn about recent accomplishments of the program. The public comment session is on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 10 - 10:20 a.m. Citizens wishing to provide comment are invited to attend.

The Border 2020 program helps guide and coordinate binational efforts between the United States and Mexico to improve public health and the environment along their shared border.
