Massachusetts Phase III GRTS Design (2005/2006) Narrative
Massachusetts followed a two-year GRTS sampling design in years 2005 and 2006. Fifty station locations were selected at random in one stratum representing the entire states’ estuarine waters.
For statistical weighting, each station represents 1/50 of the total stratum area.
The map file ma2k5.jpg shows planned Massachusetts sampling locations for 2005 and 2006. The file MA_planned_GRTS_locations.xls provides planned latitude/longitudes. The files MA2005_2006_areas.txt provides information on station areas.
