Chemical Transport

Chemical transport is governed by a mass conservation equation, here given in three dimensions for a aqueous contaminant that undergoes first order loss:

where c is the concentration, R is the retardation factor, v is the seepage velocity, D is the dispersion coefficient, l is the first order decay rate.
