Air Toxics Monitoring Concept Paper
Note: EPA no longer updates this information, but it may be useful as a reference or resource.| The purpose of the concept paper is to focus on the role
of ambient monitoring within the overall air toxics assessment process
and lay out a strategic air toxics monitoring approach. The concept
paper addresses the design of a national ambient monitoring program
including its objectives, strategic approach, scope, covered pollutants,
relationship to ongoing activities, monitoring protocol, other design
considerations, and future focus.
