Public Hearing Information

Reconsideration of Certain Aspects of the Clean Air Interstate Rule
EPA held a public hearing on Wednesday, December 14, 2005, to take comment on the Agency’s reconsideration of four specific issues related to the Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR).

The hearing was held from 9 a.m. to noon in rooms 152 and 154 at EPA’s offices at 1310 L. Street, Washington, D.C.

 


Supplemental Proposal
On June 3, 2004, EPA held a public hearing at the following location to take comment on the CAIR supplemental proposal.

The public comment period for the CAIR supplemental proposal will extend through July 26, 2004. In addition to participating in the public hearings, commenters may submit comments to EPA electronically, by mail, by facsimile or through hand delivery/courier. EPA will consider written comments submitted during the comment periods with the same weight as oral comments presented during the public hearings.

On February 25 and 26, 2004, EPA held three public hearings at the following locations to take comment on the proposed rule.
