Camp Shalom children visit food pantry

WEST HARTFORD >> Members of the Jerusalem Unit of the Mandel JCC Camp Shalom had a fun and educational tour of the JFS Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry.

The 28 campers played a hunger-focused game of Pictionary to reinforce the reality that hunger doesn’t discriminate, shopped at The Crown Market and donated 177 food items with a value of over $300 to help food insecure members of the community.
