2009 Tribal Webinars

These Webinars took place on July 22 and August 12, 2009 as part of the Introduction to Section 319 of the Clean Water Act (CWA): Nonpoint Source (NPS) Management Program webinar series. The intended audience was tribes who want to become 319-eligible, are newly eligible, or for staff new to the 319 program. Topics included a review of nonpoint source pollution, best management practices, funding sources, creating assessment and management reports, workplan development, common 319 grant eligibility issues, and a tribal case study. Copies of the presentations are provided below.

Session 1: July 22, 2009, 1:00-2:30 pm Eastern

Objective: Discuss NPS pollution, common best management practices, and using section 106 or other funding (other than 319) to help implement a NPS Program.

Session 2: August 12, 2009, 1:00-2:30 pm Eastern

Objective: Discuss 319 eligibility requirements and developing or revising NPS assessment and management plans.
