About The Volunteer Monitor

The Volunteer Monitor newsletter facilitates the exchange of ideas, monitoring methods, and practical advice among volunteer environmental monitoring groups across the nation.

Subscriptions and Back Issues

The newsletter is currently in hiatus but will return to publication.  The usual publication schedule is two issues per year. There is no charge for subscribing.

To subscribe, send a request to the EPA project manager (mayio.alice@epa.gov). Please specify which type of subscription you want: (1) Electronic. A PDF of the issue will be sent to your e-mail address. (2) Hard copy. A printed copy will be mailed. Please be sure to provide your mailing address.

Reprinting of Articles

Reprinting of material from The Volunteer Monitor is encouraged. Please notify the EPA project manager of your intentions in advance, and give credit to the newsletter and the article author. We would also appreciate receiving a copy of your final publication.
