FY 2010 'Tentative" Allotments
The FY2010 federal budget requested $105,700,000 for the PWSS Program Grants. Using the budget request as a planning target, EPA has calculated tentative (target) allotments for FY2010. $6,803,100 would be set-aside to support PWSS programs on tribal lands. The remaining $98,896,900 would be allotted, by formula, among states and territories. These tentative allotments provide states and territories with potential funding targets to assist them in developing plans for their PWSS programs in FY2010.
FY 2009 Allotments
A total of $99,100,000 is available for FY2009. Monies to support PWSS program activities on tribal lands are $6,378,000 (6.44%); $92,722,000 is being allotted to states and territories. The allotments range from $123,000 for Guam to $6,127,000 for Texas.
