Teams 1 and 2 conducted assessment and removal activities in the Bay St. Louis neighborhood areas. Team 3 conducted assessment and removal activities in the Pass Christian neighborhood areas, collecting a total of 208 items.

Teams 1 and 2 conducted assessment and removal activities in the Bay St. Louis neighborhood areas, collecting a total of 206 items. Teams 1 and 2 conducted assessment and removal activities in the Bay St. Louis neighborhood areas, collecting a total of 70 items.
Team 3 conducted assessment and removal activities in the Pass Christian neighborhood areas, collecting a total of 229 items.

Teams 1 and 2 conducted assessment and removal activities in the Bay St. Louis neighborhood areas, collecting a total of 412 items.

OSC Huyser assessed an area reported by FEMA. The debris site was where contractors staged their items during the early days of the storm. The parcel will be visited after debris removal.

Team 3 conducted assessment and removal activities in the Pass Christian neighborhood areas, collecting a total of 297 items.

Team 1conducted assessment and collected hazardous waste items along the upcoming Mardi Gras parade routes in Gulfport. Team 1 also cleared several open items in D’Iberville, including an operation utilizing the AST Team’s vacuum truck. A total of 185 items which included ten 55-gallon drums were collected and transported to the Division B collection point.

The ESF-10 Assessment Group Team 1 completed assessment surveys of residential properties in D’Iberville and than began assessing residential properties in northern Pass Christian. Team 2 began the assessment of commercial properties in western D’Iberville. Team 3 began assessing residential properties in Woolmarket, north of Gulfport.

Team 1 collected hazardous waste items along the upcoming Mardi Gras parade routes in D’Iberville and also unincorporated Harrison County along County Farm Road. A total of 549 items, which include seven 55- gallon drums, were collected and transported to the Division B collection point.

The ESF-10 Assessment Group Teams 1 and 3 stood down for the day. Team 2 continued the assessment of commercial properties in western D’Iberville.

Team 1 collected hazardous waste items in D’Iberville, near Sadler Road and also in Biloxi, near 203 Howard Street. A total of 205 items, which include seven 2 55- gallon drums and 6 85-gallon ovepack drums, were collected and transported to the Division B collection point. The ESF-10 Assessment Group Team 1 continued assessment surveys of residential properties in northern Pass Christian. Team 2 continued the assessment of commercial properties in western D’Iberville. Team 3 continued assessment surveys of residential properties in western Biloxi.

Team 1 collected hazardous waste items in Biloxi. Team 1 also pumped standing water and backfilled with clean soil at a residence. A total of 216 items, which include five 55 gallon drums, were collected and transported to the Division B collection point. Team 1 also eliminated 7 items from the Division B Open Items List.

The ESF-10 Assessment Group Team 1 continued assessment surveys of residential properties in northern Pass Christian. Team 2 continued the assessment of commercial properties in northern Gulfport. Team 3 continued assessment surveys of residential properties in
D’Iberville.

Four teams operated in the field Teams 3, 4, 5, and 6 performed ESF-10 assessments in the Pascagoula and Moss Point areas. Per a conversation between IC Stillman and OSC Fitzsimmons, grids MS-89859 (all subgrids), 90331 (all subgrids), and 90803 (subgrids Ca, Cc, Cb, Cd, Da, Db, Dc, and Dd only) will require a full ESF-10 assessment instead of the limited scope which had been proposed by OSC Benning. OSC Benning has proposed assessing only commercial properties along the Route 63 and Route 613 corridors.

Five teams operated in the field. Team 1 conducted ESF-10 pickups and investigated items on the SCRIBE Open Items list. Team 1 collected 63 items. Teams 3, 4, 5, and 6 performed ESF-10 assessments in the Pascagoula and Moss Point areas.

AST Team cleared the Beach along highway 90 between Gulfport and Biloxi. Assessment Team also opened a total of 20 Scribe items.

Tuesday, February 28, 2006
Two teams operated in the field today. Teams opened 1 Scribe items and closed a total of 15, collecting 6LP tanks, 6 cylinders, 1 small fuel tank, 1-55 gal drum, 1 large fuel tank, and 1 large oil containment tank.

Collection Point Branch
Collection Point Branch completed Hazcat and lab packing of all chemicals at the Gulf Coast research Lab, for disposal by the removal contractor, WRS. Lab packing and removal was completed as of Saturday, February 25, 2006. Teams will be stepping down operations at collection branch C in Jackson Co.

Recovered ESF-10 Debris at Collection Points
The following tables summarize hazardous material collection at the four EPA collection points located in Harrison Co., Jackson Co., and Hancock Co., MS as well as the Bayou La Batre collection point in Alabama. The Bayou La Batre collection point is presently closed. An ERRS Chemist is assigned to each remaining collection point to categorize, bulk ensure proper disposal.
