Key QA Responsibilities and Activities for projects involving environmental data:
- Plan and document Regional data activities using the EPA NE QA Project Plan Program Guidance (PDF) (18pp, 352 K, about PDF)
- Conduct work in conformance with approved QAPPs, SAPs and approved amendments
- Use the most current approved version of SOPs and methods
- Record deviations from approved SOPs and QAPP
- Implement and document corrective actions as necessary
- Identify and document problems encountered during data collection and evaluate limitations on the use of the data
