Key QA Responsibilities and Activities for projects involving environmental data:
- Conform to QA programmatic conditions in grant awards and priorities and commitments agreed to under PPGs for all EPA funded environmental data activities
- Implement effective quality systems and document processes in an EPA approved QMP or equivalent document
- Document annual review and update of QMP and submit to EPA
- Plan and document EPA funded environmental data projects in accordance with National and Regional guidance (PDF) (18pp, 353 K, about PDF)
- Document annual review and update of all multi-year QAPPs and submit review to RQAM
- Develop written procedures for commonly used practices
- Oversee implementation of quality-related work processes by sub-awardees and monitor corrective actions
