EPA Announces Name Change of Heritage Acres Superfund Site to Central Jasper County Lead Superfund Site, Jasper County, Missouri
INTRODUCTION
EPA Region 7 is changing the name of the Heritage Acres Lead Superfund Site to Central Jasper County Lead Superfund Site effective immediately. The name of the site is being changed as a result of community feedback from a public meeting which was held on March 30, 2010, at the EPA Field Office in Carthage, Missouri.
EPA will continue to address any concerns that may result from communication regarding environmental activities surrounding the site.
